The Chartered Financial Analyst program is a professional-level course offered by the United States' CFA Institute. The program aspires to give a “CFA charter” to investment and finance professionals to help them in acquiring their career goals. The CFA exam is conducted in computer-based testing mode. The program covers a broad range of financial characteristics including investment management, financial analysis, stocks, bonds, and derivatives. The pattern and complexity of the CFA exam differ depending on the exam level.
CFA scores for Level I and II are available within 60 days of the exam date and within 90 days for Level III candidates. Candidates must pass all three levels of the exam in order. CFA exams are proposed in English A candidate who successfully finishes the program will be declared a “CFA Letter Holder”.There are more than 1.2 lakhs of CFA associates in 35 countries around the world.

The Aspirant must have an international passport
The Aspirant must also meet one of the following requirements:
Bachelor Degree:
The Aspirant must be a graduate or final year student. if a Candidate wants to register for the Level II exam, the candidate must have completed the bachelor's degree.
Work experience:
The candidate must have four years of work experience or a combination of work experience and training totalling at least four years.
CFA selection process
The course is divided into three levels:
Level I: Focusing on the basic knowledge of ten subject areas and simple analysis with the investment tool
Level II: Emphasis on the application of investment concepts and instruments with a focus on the valuation of all assets.
Level III: Focus on the application of all comprehended methods and concepts for influential portfolio management and wealth planning.
The exam for each level consists of six hours, the recommended preparation plan is six months.
The application process for each level will be announced six months in advance. Aspirants can register for the desired level, prepare for the ability test over the next six months, and then take the exam.
Application forms are available online on the CFA official website to be completed and submitted along with the registration fee before the final day.
CFA Entrance Exam Details
The morning session lasts 135 minutes in which the candidate has to answer 90 multiple-choice questions.
The afternoon session is 135 minutes in which the aspirant has to solve the remaining 90 multiple choice questions, each question has the same weight and there is no negative score for an incorrect answer.
The first exam session is based on topics such as ethics and professional standards, quantitative methods, economics, financial reporting, and analysis
corporate finance, equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments, and portfolio management are the topics that are focused in the second session of the exam
Examination Pattern:
Level I
The Level I examination according to the CFA examination scheme consists of 180 multiple-choice questions. The test is separated into two sessions, each session lasting 135 minutes. The candidates must appear at both sessions.
Examination pattern:
Level II
Level II of the CFA exam includes the item set questions that consist of bullet points. The test takes place in two sessions in the morning and in the afternoon. The total duration of the test is 4 hours and 24 minutes, which is divided into two sessions.
This will be divided equally into two sessions.

Level III consists of a series of essay-like items and questions
Morning session: Questions with constructed answers (essay)
Each session lasts 2 hours and 12 minutes with an optional break in the medium.
Fees Candidates are required to pay a one-time registration fee for the program when enrolling for the CFA Level I exam, which is US $ 450 or INR 32,168.25. The fee structure for exam registration is shown below.

Key Points to Consider When Registering the Program CFA:
- Create a Login Account with Your email id.
- You will be asked for your name, email ID, password, and a security question.
- After you have created an account, you can log in and fill out the form.
- Payment of the registration fee can be made online by credit card: American Express, Diner's Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, UnionPay or Visa or offline by bank transfer, ACH, check, money order, or postal order. The prizes will be sent to the candidates by email.
